Trim Levels
There are two available models. The Genesis GV60 Advanced trim generates 314 horsepower and all the standard features. The Genesis GV60 Performance trim has more output and adds heated rear seats, a digital key, a faux suede headliner, electronically controlled suspension dampers, and premium leather.
Performance
The new Genesis GV60 has dual electric motors, one at the rear and the other at the front axle, for all-wheel drive. Drivers can choose between two powertrains. The Genesis GV60 Advanced model has a total output of 314 horsepower and 446 pound-feet of torque. The Genesis GV60 Performance model generates 429 horsepower. It delivers quicker acceleration but has a lower range than the Genesis GV60 Advanced model. The Genesis GV60 Performance trim has a Boost driving mode that temporarily increases the total output to 483 horsepower.
The new Genesis GV60 delivers an exhilarating drive with phenomenal acceleration and quick and precise steering. The Genesis GV60 Performance model delivers a comfortable ride thanks to the adaptive suspension. It also features an electronic limited-slip differential, giving the Genesis GV60 better traction when accelerating. The Genesis GV60 feels athletic, with refined road manners and a quiet cabin.
Interior and Exterior Features
The new Genesis GV60 has an off-beat design slightly different from other Genesis SUVs. The front trapezoidal grille hangs lower below the LED headlights with a two-line design. The Advanced model comes standard with 20-inch wheels, while the Performance model has larger 21-inch wheels. The new Genesis GV60 has a pleasing silhouette featuring a sloping roof.
The interior of the Genesis GV60 is comfortable and spacious, with unique features and premium materials. It has high-tech features, distinctive elements, a facial recognition system, and a fingerprint reader. This luxury compact SUV's average-sized cargo space and features a standard power liftgate.
The new Genesis GV60 has two rows of seating with a seating capacity of five people. The front row is roomy with ergonomic seats, and drivers can enjoy good visibility. However, the sloping roof limits the headroom at the rear seats.
Technology
The infotainment system is intuitive, with a large 12.3-inch touchscreen and a similar-sized digital gauge cluster. Drivers can enjoy numerous connectivity features, including a Wi-fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, and navigation. A 17-speaker Band & Olufsen audio system, wireless device charging, dual-zone auto climate control, and a panoramic glass roof are standard.
Safety
Genesis has equipped the new GV60 with a long list of standard driver aids to ensure Medina drivers are confident behind the wheel. They include parking sensors, blind-spot warning, a surround-view camera, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping system, automated and remote parking assist, and forward collision mitigation. Other features include a driver attention monitor and a safe exit alert.
